Our Story

Bonjour and welcome! France Café is owned and operated by Kathleen and Gérard Marini. Born and raised in the South of France, Gérard has worked his culinary magic for over 40 years. He’s also a certified sommelier, and can recommend excellent wine pairings with his food. Kathleen hails from Montréal, grew up in Glendale, and is the mastermind of many of France Cafe’s culinary creations. She’s especially known for creating vegan delights that are almost “too good to be vegan”. Together, this Provence power couple create some of the most authentic French home cooking in La Crescenta.

We strive to ensure that everything on our menu is prepared with care, while using the freshest ingredients. We offer a mix of fixed menu staples, along with a rotating assortment of specials.
